Yoga at Imagine

Imagine Fitness and Yoga offers a variety of yoga classes, from beginner to advanced.  We specialize in helping those new to Yoga get started. We believe in a triad of focus on strength, flexibility and balance. Which ever class you choose you will find the unique blend of all three.

Bare Bones Yoga
With Bare Bones Yoga, you don’t need to know ANYTHING about Yoga, you just need to show up.

You will be guided through each class and we guarantee that within 4 weeks you will feel better and within 12 weeks you will feel stronger, more flexible and have better balance.

Beginners Yoga

Dedicated to anyone who is new to Yoga or anyone who is looking for a refresher of the fundamentals important to their Yoga practice. Your instructor will lead you through basic and gentle standing and seated poses and you will learn about the healing benefits of Yoga.

Vinyasa

An energizing practice that links your breath to movement through a series of poses to form a continuous flow that helps improve strength, flexibility and balance.

Level 1 Vinyasa

Our Level 1 Vinyasa class is a great choice for beginners as well and seasoned practitioners that are looking for a slower practice that focuses on alignment and breath. This slow moving class guides practitioners to link their breath to movements as they begin to deepen their awareness in each posture.

Level 1-2 Vinyasa

Our Level 1-2 Vinyasa class is a great choice for those who are looking to begin to increase their strength and balance as well as their overall flexibility. This class focuses on foundational yoga postures that link breath to movement as well as invigorate the body.

Level 2 Vinyasa

Our Level 2 Vinyasa class is an intermediate flowing Yoga class, linking breath to movement that helps each practitioner deepen their practice. Your instructor will introduce new strengthening and balance postures and offer modifications for any level of practice.

Yin Yoga with Healing Reiki

This gentle, restorative and meditative Yoga class is appropriate to all levels. Gentle poses are held for 3-5 minutes focusing on healing the fascia and connective tissues. Poses focus on the hips, pelvis and lower back. Blankets and props are utilized for optimal comfort in each pose.

Gentle Yoga

The demands of life have effects on us; body, mind and spirit. By practicing gentle Yoga you help bring your physiological systems back into balance, decrease stress, and help heal any injury, pain or overall muscle tightness.

This Yoga class is perfect for all levels. Beginners to advanced practitioners benefit from focusing on the recovery and balance of your body. You will leave class feeling relaxed and renewed.

Tai chi

A “moving meditation” that started in ancient China as a form of self-defense. Today, it is practiced for its health benefits. Poses are used to activate the muscles and initiate a gentle stretch while a continuous flow is maintained. Tai Chi is soothing to the mind and body.
