Yoga

Imagine Fitness and Yoga offers a variety of yoga classes, from beginner to advanced. We specialize in helping those new to Yoga get started. We believe in a triad of focus on strength, flexibility and balance. You will find the unique blend of all three in whichever class you choose.

Yoga classes to get started and grow:

Fundamentals, Beginner’s Yoga & Fitness, Intro Classes
Participants will learn the building blocks of yoga practice in a variety of introductory classes. These classes are great for beginning and intermediate level practitioners looking to establish good form, balance, and flow in their practice. Many classes are the perfect refresher of the fundamentals important to Yoga practice. Your instructor will lead you through basic and gentle standing and seated poses and you will learn about the healing benefits of Yoga.

Vinyasa – Levels I, II and III
An energizing practice that links your breath to movement through a series of poses to form a continuous flow that helps improve strength, flexibility and balance.

Restorative Yin Yoga
This relaxing and meditative class is appropriate to all levels. Gentle poses are held for 3-5 minutes focusing on healing the fascia and connective tissues. Practitioners are fully supported by blankets and props to encourage total relaxation and engage the parasympathetic nervous system, in charge of “rest and digest.”

Tai Chi

A “moving meditation” that started in ancient China as a form of self-defense. Today, it is practiced for its health benefits. Poses are used to activate the muscles and initiate a gentle stretch while a continuous flow is maintained. Tai Chi is soothing to the mind and body.

Fitness Class

At Imagine Fitness & Yoga we focus on training the whole body. Our trainers specialize in the development of strength, flexibility and balance. In addition to personal training, we offer circuit training and cycling classes with instructors focused on your personal needs within a small group session.

Circuit Training

Our circuit training methods are rooted in functional training. Functional training means that we target our classes to increase your strength and effectiveness in your daily activities. Not only will you get stronger, you will feel better too!

Circuit training classes will help increase your strength, balance and conditioning from head to toe. Our instructors incorporate body weight, free weight, machine-based and cardio equipment exercises into training classes that are appropriate for all levels of fitness.

Cycling

Our cycling classes are an invigorating way to enhance your cardiovascular strength and endurance. Cycling is gentle on the joints but still provides a great workout. Instructors will guide you while you pedal at various resistance levels and cadences.

Pilates

Pilates borrows movements from yoga, dance, and calisthenics and is focused on stretching and strengthening the body, especially the core. Standard pilates uses equipment for the moves, but mat pilates requires no equipment besides a cushioning mat to get a great workout.
